The HazPak Ordering and Installation Process

Each HazPak is designed and built to meet the customer’s specific needs. We break the process down into three main phases: design, manufacturing, and installation

Design Phase

The process begins with information about the general area where the HazPak will be installed. This could include locations such as inside a building, under a coverall, or on an open plot of land. Using the available dimensions provided by the customer, our design team utilizes 3D modeling software to plan the layout and positioning of each component within the given space.

Customer feedback from previous installations, requirements from local environmental authorities, and site-specific regulations are also taken into account. The HazPak design team ensures that all components align with customer needs.

Manufacturing Phase

Once the customer approves the preliminary HazPak design, the manufacturing process begins. Our Owen Sound facility typically takes about six weeks to produce the critical components of the HazPak system. At the heart of the system is our Central Processing Unit (CPU), which has been refined and perfected over the past 15 years.

Following component production, another six weeks are required for our MacLean assembly team to build the HazPak CPU in one of our dedicated assembly bays. Once assembly is complete, the equipment is ready to be shipped to locations worldwide.

Installation Phase

Approximately six months after the initial design phase, the HazPak is ready for installation. MacLean team members are present at the customer site throughout the installation process, working alongside certified local mechanical and electrical contractors. This collaboration ensures compliance with local and national regulations and maintains the highest quality standards.

Our team remains onsite until the system has been successfully commissioned and the customer’s team has received full training on HazPak operation, maintenance, and safety protocols.

We take great pride in the HazPak system, which has been continuously improved over the last 15+ years. Many of our satisfied customers are happy to share their experiences with you.
